The problem
What’s a vamp?
On Solana a meme coin can be cloned in seconds. Someone launches a token with the same ticker and name, often the same picture too, and rides the original’s hype. That copy is a vamp. For one popular ticker there can be thousands.
Vamp Alert ranks every token that shares a ticker and name by exact launch time. The earliest is the launch. Everything after it is a vamp. Paste a contract address and you know which one you’re holding, before you buy.

Questions
What is a vamp?
A vamp is a token that copies an earlier one: it launches later but reuses the same ticker and a near-identical name (and often the same picture) to ride the original’s hype. A popular Solana meme coin can have thousands of them within days.
How does Vamp Alert decide if a token is the launch or a vamp?
It finds every Solana token with the same exact ticker and a matching name and ranks them by exact launch time. Small differences copycats add, such as “2.0”, “(Official)”, different spacing, or a different ending after the same leading word (“Tschuna the Tiger” and “Tschuna Fang Fortune”), still count as a match. The earliest is the launch (the OG), and anything that came after it is a vamp. A token that only shares the ticker, under an unrelated name, is a different narrative and doesn’t count. If a later token is Jupiter-verified the page says so, but launch order decides.
Does OG Launch mean the token is safe?
No. OG Launch only means earliest. It says nothing about whether a token is safe, legitimate or a good investment, and the token the crowd trades often isn’t the first one. Always do your own research.
What does Show OGs do?
It lists every token that shares the ticker and name, oldest first, with the OG, the Verified OG and the earliest Raydium, pump.fun and stonk.fun launches. It is the OG finder bot’s list, narrowed to the same name and ticker.
How do the alerts work?
Press Push notification if vamped on any checked token, or Notify if vamped in the Telegram bot. Vamp Alert watches new Solana launches as they happen and alerts you when a new token uses the same ticker and name. Alerts last a month.
Do I need an account?
No. Push alerts use your browser’s built-in notifications. Telegram alerts tag you in the chat where you pressed the button.
Why can a check take a few seconds?
Popular tickers can have thousands of copies, and we scan them. Results are cached, so repeat checks load instantly.
